A burning subject - equivalent to World Politics - is Weight Loss. Not just calories are of concern here, but also TRP ratings and the money! The idea of 'Staying fit' is now morphed and promoted as having "Size Zero figure" or "Six Pack Abs." Nothing wrong in this unless if the basics are remembered - "Stay healthy to keep fit."
Many Weight loss courses are rigorous. To lose an inch of tummy, one gets the following at free of cost. "Oh! Where are the cheeks?! - looking like an alien in Terminator! What happened to the skin's
tone and glow?" - The calories of the cheeks are eaten away, but of the tummy stays!

Typical Weight loss programs shown on TV during the mid-day, promoting various innovative, hard-to-think, products-from-heaven, forgot to add this to their slogan knowingly or unknowingly "Lose weight in 15 days; also, slender, tender softy look"

Set the motive right - "Love to stay healthy and a fit body comes as plus".

Set the basics right - "Sound mind, Sound body".

Set healthy practices - "Temptation is woe. Leave junk foods and eat green foods".

'Go Green!' is not just for the earth to stay fit, but also for humans. "Eating greens! Wheek!" It looks tedious at the thought of it. But, on practicing, one enjoys the benefit within a week. The body will shed the heaviness and one feels light and healthy. There is enough of fat content in the body that comes as rescue. So, don't be afraid of fainting, if someone threatens about going green.

Now the basics - light & clear stomach at the start of the day, lightens up everything. The first food going inside the stomach should be a natural food. A glass of fresh juice - nil sugar - or, a fresh veg.salad, is the perfect start. This loads the digestive machine lightly, which has just woken up after 6-8 hours of sleep, just like you! Dumping heavy fat, high calorie items won't help it much and will lead to wear down of the machine. One will run behind antacids in mid-morning. Giving a gap of 2-4 hours between meals will help the food to be churned and digested fully. Half-burnt & absorbed food is always toxic.

"Does going green help in weight loss?" - Very Much! A complete diet with fresh veggies, greens and cereals helps reduce the calorie intake. This allows the fat reservoirs to be burnt and used as energy, when needed. Also, fully cooked food does not have the life in it. It is like eating a dead-piece-of-meat. Eating fresh vegetables allows one to connect with the life of the vegetable and transforms as life of yours fully.

So, "Go Green" is the only workable mantra for weight loss. This, tied up with other physical exercises or Yoga practices, helps one to stay healthy and fit.
