Let's face it; obesity is fast becoming one of the world's
biggest and most serious health concerns. Alarmingly enough, obesity is
now regarded as being the second biggest cause of preventable death in
the United States. While most developed countries, and particularly
those in the West are facing a similar problem, let's take a look at two
other US statistics:
* More than 60 million Americans, over the age of 20, are now considered to be obese
