Increasing Testosterone Levels Naturally
Most everyone that's into weight training, bodybuilding, or any type of strength training is looking for ways to get bigger and stronger. One, and perhaps the only sure way to do this is by increasing your testosterone levels. This isn't so much of an issue in your younger years, but as we age, our natural levels of testosterone start to take a dive, year after year.
You could go to your doctor and see if they'll prescribe testosterone treatment, and it's certainly recommended that you
consult with your physician on such matters. But not every doctor is willing to deal with testosterone therapy, and many people just downright can't afford the cost. So they search for other remedies for boosting test.
Advanced science has allowed us to create supplements that are effective at boosting testosterone levels. Most of them are safe and natural, meaning they do not have harmful side effects and do not shut down your body's own ability to create testosterone. In fact, these supplements raises your body's ability to produce more testosterone. At least this is how they're advertised.
Testosterone Supplement Scams
Make no mistake there are plenty of scams out there, especially in the testosterone supplement industry. There are countless products with hyped up advertisements claiming you'll make huge gains in lean muscle, have revitalized youth, and increased libido. Not all of them work.
Testosterone supplements can also be very expensive. It's easy to waste hundreds or more on trying different products that claim to increase test levels. All too often many walk away disappointed after going through a 30 day supply of a supplement that cost them $70 or more.
Study the Supplement Labels
There's no way to tell if a supplements lives up to its' claims until you actually try it. However, you can do your own research by studying the ingredients on the labels of the supplements you're interesting in. This is something we should do for all supplements. There are some natural ingredients that have proven the test of time in performance and strength training. Below are a few of them:
ZMA
D-aspartic Acid
Vitamin D
Oyster Extract
Tribulus
Fenugreek
Yohimbe Bark
L-arginine
Cissus Quadrangularis
There are more ingredients we could cover but these are just a few ingredients to look for on the label of test boosting supplements. More than likely you're not going to find a test booster with all of these ingredients. But it's best if you find a product with a combination of a few of these on the label.
You should also research the effective doses for each ingredient on the label. Don't count on some advertisement or even a gym buddy to tell you if something works or not. Research the ingredients yourself and determine if they've been proven to increase testosterone.
You also have to remember that everything in trial and error. Just because a supplement worked well for one person doesn't mean it will work as good for you. Or you may even respond better to it. But at least, and I stress again, do your own research on the label. That will narrow down your choices of testosterone boosting supplements and will save you money.
